100% agree with this point. I never watched Gamechangers (nor What The Health), but I’ve seen some of the older ones (Forks Over Knives, Fat Sick & Nearly Dead, Food Matters, Vegucated). If you’ve seen one vegan documentary, you’ve seen them all. The tactics used are similar: meat eggs and dairy, non-animal foods=good.
Many of them often miss the opportunity to say that vegan is a very vague term and it’s quite easy to be unhealthy eating that way, especially considering how much access we have to processed food with things like Beyond “Meat” becoming really popular. I think people would take these documentaries more seriously if they said that even when eating vegan, you still need to be mindful of faux healthy foods.
