LOL, I know people like this. They’re cool to hang out with until they get on their social-political high horse. Since I live abroad and have befriended people of many nationalities, I must say Canadian SJW liberals are arguably worse than the American ones. Many Canadians in general already act like hating or poking fun of the USA is a personality trait, so that in combination of being them given their “woke” opinion about American society/politics makes them pretty annoying. The irony is that some of them lack awareness of similar issues in their own country. I was hanging out with a “woke” Canadian that completely rewrote his country’s history by saying “the British settlers and native tribes peacefully negotiated the land while the colonizers in the US violently took it.” 🙃

At that point I just nodded my head and walked away.
