Of course, any White person will likely believe this if their only real-life exposure to Black people is through the media, Medium, and movies about Black people by White filmmakers who seem to think the only Black stories worth telling are ones with White people at the center. Any White person who actually makes an effort to have meaningful interactions with Black people in the real world knows our interests are as varied as theirs are. And if walls could talk, they might reveal that when Black people talk amongst ourselves, we rarely waste our time talking about White people.
