Yeah, I always found it interesting how in places like the US people are scared to death of carbs yet most people in the world eat a carb-heavy diet, yet they don’t have the same health and weight problems. My Taiwanese students eat rice or noodles for nearly every meal: rice porridge, noodle soup, fried rice/noodles, rice top w/ meat and vegetables, yet most people here are slim.
